The 6th International Conference on Dialogical Practices, a gathering of both academics and practitioners from various fields of helping professions, will take place in Olomouc, Czech Republic, from the 18th to the 20th of May. The conference is organised by the Institute of Social Health at Palacky University in Olomouc, the Network for Dialogical Practices, the non-profit organisation Zahrada 2000, and the Narativ Association.
On the 18th of May, Raffaella Pocobello, principal investigator of HOPEnDialogue, will take part as an invited speaker to the session “Dialogical practices around the world,” which also includes Tamaki Saito (JPN), Elisa Petroni (ARG), and Alexandra Moreira (PT) and is facilitated by Jaakko Seikkula. Other contributions on Dialogical Practices will be provided by keynote speakers from Europe, North and South America, and Asia, such as Ivana Markova (UK), Peter Rober (BG), Tamaki Saito (JPN), Alita Taylor & Fletch Taylor (US), Cecilia Cruz Villares (BR), Wilma Boevink (NL), Martin Fojtíček (CZ), and Annbjorg Haram (FIN).
The pre-conference workshops will start on the 17th of May at 1 pm. During the three days of the conference, much space will also be given to working groups, which will elaborate on the use of dialogical ideas in a specific field, domain, or context, and workshops that will be an occasion to discuss a particular topic related to dialogical practices. Note also that abstracts for workshops and working groups can be submitted until the 6th March 2023.
